Following this road trip

...the time is come to bring this ...bad guy? playable again

Ok, here's the cabinet... inside the V2

As you can see... no monitor

...and this time, this will be a big problem because the original monitor is a
medium resolution (24K), and so, I won't be able to put a TV... OK... I'll come back on this later...

The control panel is in good shape... only dust as you see (*almost* uncleaned yet

)

The original board is there... and... when I got the game more than one year ago, we plugged the game, and we heard the game... let's hope it's still working... but at least, it looks complete

...spider webs... as usual...

You gonna die very soon... sorry

Let's check the identity of the cab'

How many games played? Notice the sound board on the picture... yes, under a ton of dust

OK, let's start with a good cleaning of the inside

Now, let's plug the game...and see what happens?

One right part of the marquee is lightening up.

...the board is up too...

I press the coin switch... and ... YES

I can play the game... I'm blind ... but I can hear the sounds during my actions (accelerate, siren), the music and the sounds/speaks of the game.
Well, maybe everything on screen would be garbage graphics, bug, or even no display... but at this point, I still have hope

Let's check how the board sends the pictures. Here's the cable

As you can see, one of the previous owners of this cab has been changed something... the connector has been modified.
Anyway, it won't change anything because... I don't have a medium resolution monitor...

... and I don't think I'll be able to found one near to me...ultra difficult to get in Europe, I mean of this specific size (I'm not talking about monitors for Sega Racing games for example!)

... so what?
Here's my solution
