Yes, and in addition, I'm a HUGE fan of 'original screen burn' on CRT

, but that monitor is sadly very damaged (sychro problem but also geometry problems, picture deformation and moving, colors...

)... That monitor seem to be already capkit'ed (not by me) in the past, you can see the recent 'blue capacitors' on the next picture.

No, this one definitively needs (& deserves) something more reliable

So I'm building a custom VIDEO adapter in order to display the game from the original board to a brand new TV monitor, using the usual SCART connector in order to display the RBB 60Hz signal blablabla... but ... argg... it doesn't work ?

WHat's wrong on my custom adapter ?
Stay calm, have a look at the board pin out and switches... Thanks to 'Pinouts' document available on the
www.mikesarcade.com, I can read the solution

OK... one 'switch move' later, it works

Ok, Let's remove the original monitor. By the way, that Zaxxon features the 'Fast Fire' add-on board, see the black arrow

See the original CRT... a true work of Art, I must admit it

I've to build a custom monitor support in wood :

Let's disassemble that *brand* new TV (I've a good stock of this model

)

...ready to display that historical game for at least (and I hope) 20 years to come

On location

Let's play now

The picture is just... perfect... so precise, so bright... the black on screen is ... black... I love it

I still have to clean the cabinet, the panel, and see what I can do with the damaged side art sticker
