MTC900 (VANGUARD) vertical problem

I just replaced the vertical IC in one of mine due to a loss of vertical sync when warm. The TDA1470 used in the earlier MTC-900 is available from Cricklewood electronics in the UK. That sort of curling I usually associate with a bad cap - did you make sure they were all fitted the right way round? :)

It worked wor a bit, then during the last party has gone. I ll check the involved caps  :wink:

Caps ok, just to be sure I replaced them all. But the problem persists

What PaulSwan said fixed mine - replace the vertical IC.
