OMG, I've never seen tar used to paint a control panel before.

It amazes me what goes through the minds of some people. Here's what I think the logic was

"I want the widest CPO money can buy...but wait...I have this surfboard and some coal tar....ping IDEA"

There is simply NO  "All In One" solution control panel for every classic game.  It's just impossible.
