most cab will be restored of course. For the zacs we will took it in order to save them .
For the moment we are checking the cab to see what can be saved and if it is complete .
More surprise to come sor sure .
I was at the warehouse on thursday and we found in a parcel an original pcb from space invaders .
Some pcb from stern and nintendo . Former owner took some eprom but we will try to make them revive .
Time is the only stuff we need

lately i was a bit busy .

Indeed on monday i found a pinball dracula.
So i did not got much time to check the cab we brought lately .

This morning I went to the warehouse in order to clean de cab that were covered by dust since more than 20 years.

the warehouse is 35 km far from were i lived so i better not forget tools and so on .

trunk is Rock and loaded



the operation wold look really better after some cleaning . funny stuff the cab came from 1 km from were i worked but i found it on the other side of france . I am glad she is back to were she belongs 






i spend some time to move cab in order to be able to reach the tempest . This one come from the attic of the warehouse it was a pain in the ass to save it .


bad luck the CPO was painted . I tried ot get rid of the paint to check if i found original CPO but it was already gone .





bottom of cab is a bit dommaged . nothing to worry about some resin and paint and it will be like new .

after that i decided to open what was supossed to be the burger time . A burger time in a namco cab that was stranged .



i took away the marquee as it is not meant to be on this cab. it seems that the former owner was switching everything in his cabs grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. 






i have no clue about the game wired in it .

Next i go to the supposed qix from taito .



marquee is broken and was clued .

cpo is in german . Interresting this cab may have seen some roads .


side art are unusual for me I have no clue about it . Does any of you know waht it is .

i opened it since i found the key

I opened then the jeutel that we took for a friend and guess what is was the house of a squirrel .




I make a teasing for tomorrow

The board in the Qix cab looks like a Pac/Galaxian PCB with an extension board on it. reading an EPROM might ID it.

I'd say that the Qix is almost certainly made by ENV, the company that also made the Euro Donkey Kong cabinets. The cabinets I've seen by them all appear to be licensed versions so I'd guess this one is too. If you compare them the shape and design is identical, even the control panel layout is the same.

here is some update of my last weekend .

I brougt the pcb back at home . I had to store them in the kitchen since the rest of the  house is full .

House look more and more like an arcade warehouse .





i started to check pcb

some time it is hardcore



that poor taito one had some hard time .

At the moment at night I spend hours checking on internet pcb reference , trying to find game's name.

I already found karaté blazer original from visco system but also a quasar from Zaccaria and the astro battle pcb that nora76 was looking for .

I found also a pcb from nintendo dated from 83 but all eproms were stolen by former owner 

I was even more bored when i saw that he made the same thing with the sega pengo

I will for sure ! It will just had more work . I would have wanted at least to have original eproms .

Thanks guys for the support . Indeed that taito bio attack need some serious bath .

The smell is even worth . Rats used it as toillets i think .
I found it in a barn under a lot of Hay .

I would NEVER put that in the dishwasher....the idea of putting my dishes etc. from what I eat  in next......yugh !

Just give it a real bath in a sink. I've done it before. As long as you use your wife's/GF's hairdryer to seriously dry it all over you're safe

maybe this is something for the hobby, its a mini dishwasher, its big enough to fit any chassis or board i think ?

that is if you need to wash boards many time though, a one time wash will not weight up to the cost, although you can get them pretty cheap second hand

lol i always thought the same way .
perhaps it is something you can store on the upper part of a cab

i will give this taito pcb a good bath once i get a baby/dog bathroom for cheap . it is easy to find on leboncoin in france  and pretty useful .

i also found some hyperolympic pcb from konami and a samourai from taito too

This is Star Castle. I believe this game was an ENV (as muddy says) Star Castle - most likely a licensed game rather than a bootleg.


Did you go back and save that Taito Missile X?

If you can go back and get the parts from it if it is rotten I will be your best friend.

I would give you 100 Euro for the control panel, bezel, PCB and any other parts you can save from it.
