« on: July 29, 2013, 05:00:03 PM »
Hi guys,

Got some projects in lately and need to get some out for cash. First up is the Space Zap that I collected all the way from Germany from Alex. Is in perfect working order and in great shape!

Looking for €550,-

Can be picked up in Zoetermeer in The Netherlands. Here are some pics btw ;)

Cheers,

Hasan

..... which I can undertand because of the great automatic ´programmable´ monitor rotation mechnism, but not because of the awful CP layout and terrible joystick and buttons. But these can be replaced of course.  :)

You may be right, but when we started with our parties we had different oriented games in each of our 5 Quadros. It was very annoying when especially but not only the kids kept turning the switch and the screen rotated half of the evening. Meanwhile we have only vertical or horizontal games in our Quadros ;)

I'm not sure what sticks are built in these Konami cabs. But when they were produced by its german inventor they used very good sticks. I've had several sticks in my cab at home but guess what....I recently made matching installing plates for the original Quadro-sticks cause they are the best :)

erm....sorry for wrecking the thread....please go ahead with the sale and Nilfisk: Congrats for a great cab! :)

Thanks, Psykick. Anyone of you dutch guys with a good recommendation reg. shipping / transport? Been trying to get some quotes for bringing the Quadro to Austria, but so far they are massive. I've got plenty of time, so a slow, affordable mean of transport would be perfectly fine.

Cheers,
Martin

Hehe, yes for several reasons André. I'm not a collector of classic cabs, I only have them to serve the Arcade we have mostly. The space zap is a fragile machine that has a b/w monitor that only has a good picture when it's really dark, so most of the time it doesn't get playtime and I think it really belongs in a gameroom of a collector and not in a space like we have. I really think it will complement a classic cab collector's game room.
In a way a pitty though, but I've bought some cabs recently and need the extra cash, so this was the best candidate to leave, although it had only been here for a couple of months ;)

I love that cab, it's in pretty good condition and very fun but i understand your reasons to sell it...what new cabs did you get?

I really like the Space Zap, too bad it's leaving the NGC

I can't spend the money on it right now though :(
