Okay everyone. I contacted John with the list we have so far. Let's see what he's coming up with. It might take til the weekend to get an answer though as he seems to be pretty busy normally.

And for starters: Here is a nice Donkey Kong Jr for sale. It's USD 400 and pretty close to New Jersey/Philadelphia, which is the place with the P-Man container. If there is interest I can arrange for shipping via P-Mans container. Shipping price including VAT is about EUR 300 though. So, including shipping to Philadelphia this cab will cost about EUR 650-800 shipped to the UK south cost (depending on del options to Philly and other stuff).

And an I, Robot project. Shipping to Johns place will be USD 300 to 400 I guess. An untested I, Robot PCB on ebay w/o connector board is EUR 360 already and 6 hours to go!

Off topic: Great game. Until my recent visit to Funspot, my number one game on my wishlist was Tempest, but Juno First took over first place. I played the game a lot during those few days and I love everything about it, gameplay, visuals and sound. A really true classic and awesome game.

I sure would love to get this game, but I have no clue if this is a realistic prize for the pcb, and the seller only ships in the States, which is a pity.

Price is pretty high but not totally nuts. Well, it's SLIGHTLY nuts. Ask the seller if he ships to europe. Is about USD 30-40 normally.

Yes I am located in Berlin Germany. I bought a couple of things over there in the last two or three years (mainly via klov forum) and up til now never got screwed.

Contacts: P-Man is there from time to time. I did talk to two other well known long time collectors involved in the P-Man container project and can store games there. I bought from Todd Tuckey and Jeff Rothe recently. I also bought stuff from a couple other guys that even did ship stuff for me from sellers that didnt want to ship to europe! Ah, and I bought a cab from steve23 recently. Thats the guy who started one of the other container threads here. Short: These guys were always nice and supporting and I am not afraid of doing business with them remote (yet).

On a side note regarding steve23: If someone is looking for any parts or project games and knows Steve has them, we can include those too, as I will need to arrange shipping for at least one game from him anyway.

Thats totally open as of yet. I guess we need to know who the stakeholders will be and what the harbour options are, before we can all decide for one via voting or something. But I can assure you that we will need to take over the place with our vans to get all the cabs picked up on arrival. At least thats how I imagine the whole thing at the moment

I want to get the ball rolling, but I don't want to do ALL the work myself. As I wrote in an earlier post, I suggest that you guys go after the stuff you want yourself. For the time being and to give you an idea of whats possible and whats not, I do offer to help arranging stuff.

Later on we can do stuff individually. We will just need to put details and status in one single list, to keep everyone up-to-date. (And to realize when we have enough for the container to ship )

Hey, just saw your post on klov regarding the Journey and wanted to contct you, now you post here. Wenn das McLuhan wüsste, der würde sich vor Freude im Grabe umdrehen

 I know some one who might have Journeys for sale. As I will ship two cabs from this someone to hopefully our container Sammelpunkt in McLean, IL 61754 anyway, asking will make even more sense. Will keep you updated!

Got first feedback regarding Journey and more. Not much space for haggling with this guy though. Good news is, shipping to John Yates will cost USD 100 for 3 games or more. For ALL games! Means almost no shipping costs IN the US.
