Thanks for your reply.

I am pleased someone has done the side art as I have been after that as well for years. I have had a NOS cpo for years and 2 other NOS marquees of different versions of the artwork. Where are you based? as I would be more than happy to send you my marquee to help with reproducing it if you do not mind sharing the artwork files after. You can of course keep my old marquee afterwards as I would have no use for it.

Thanks and great work.

Hi JameSS!

I´m interested in this maquees. :)

I send you a pm.

For Bomb Jack control panel I used a vector version from arcade library, but I have a version photo with buttons sticker. This stickers were very, very rare. :-)

I show photos of my "Bomb Jack cabinet" with my own "Bomb Jack marquee" and "control panel":

No, I haven´t it because I need more information about. I only try  repros from photos when I can get a 90% or more of fidelity with the original.

Thanks I sent you a PM.

Have you ever seen or found a picture of a dedicated bombjack cabinet?. Many people I speak to believe it was only ever available as a conversion kit which may explain why there are at least 3 different versions of the marquee that I know of.

I was planning on using a centuri (phoenix/time pilot) style cabinet and that is the only one I have seen pictures of. It is also as close as I can remember from the one I use to play back in 1984 and 1985. When I used to talk to David Haynes who had the bombjack.org site his bombjack was in a centuri style cabinet.

Thanks.

Just for the record: I've already ordered stuff from mikonos last year and he's a GREAT guy to deal with!
I'll post some pictures tomorrow (Juno First CPO, Crystal Castles kickplate, ...).
My 2 cents to the artist: find a printer who can silkscreen, finish the CPOs with that special "rough" lamination and precut your artworks and you'll be THE best around.
It's not a criticism at all, it's meant as an improvement.
See, your digital files are so perfect (and often hard to find) that they deserve the best printing treatment. :)

Hi, chrischris!

Glad to read you!  :)

Yes, I´m working in to get rough lamination for control panels here, but it is rare. Today a store must be reply about it, but not. Tomorrow I try again with others.

Juno First and Crystal Castles Kick panel are very rare pieces, this is reason because I reproduced its.  :) Last year I restored Juno first bezel.

I show, for people than read this topic, the bezel restoration. ;)

"Juno first Bezel" - Original scan.

"Juno Fisrt Bezel" restored by Mikonos.

"Juno First" samples. Restoration Comparative. By Mikonos.

I think I worked so hard last year! :D :D :D

Hello,

Yes that is the cabinet that I always believed was for a dedicated Bombjack but when you examine all the other pictures of that cabinet it is actually a centuri (phoenix/timepilot/vanguard) cabinet. It actually shares the same bezel as centuri vanguard. It may be that tehkan actually used the centuri cabinet for their dedicated Bombjacks or that may a conversion. I have never been able to find out for definite but thinking back 27 years to when I last played Bombjack on a dedicated cabinet that is pretty close to how I remember it but I can not be certain.

Thanks.
