I started to work on Breakout again, after a long break. And I need a bit of technical advice and guidance.
Let´s start with the (original) monitor, it is still in good condition, of course some burn in, but the colours of the bricks and paddle are still very, very vibrant and colourful.

The only issue is that the image is too narrow (I can tell from the burn in that it used to be much wider), but I hope that a pot on the chassis will solve that. Or is there another known issue with these monitors?
All sounds and lights are working.

About the paddle pot, it jitters a lot when turned. And I think that the pot isn´t original because the shaft is too long, the knob is more than 1 cm. above the panel. Could there be an issue with the pot (5K) or with the game board? And who can point me to a good replacement pot in The Netherlands, without having to order for a certain amount?
Worst issue: the gameplay is not OK, the ball runs straight through visible bricks and bounces against non-visible bricks. It does recognize the walls properly though. Where do I start to solve this issue? The ball also travels with a very high speed, but that could because be of some dipswitch settings. I haven´t checked that yet.
