Mounted the speaker today, at first i wanted to mount it above the monitor in the part where the cardboard bezel wil come, but then i realised that when the top lid is installed, and there is glass in front of the monitor, the audio will be dimmed, so i hope that this position in front of the coinslot will be a solution for this.

Time to worry about the T moulding, so i decides to make a test piece..

Glued with the iron..

And after cutting with the tool described earlier...
Hmm its good that its a test piece! , damage to the vinyl...

Lets see how to prevent that from happening on the real deal..
some masking tape should do the trick..

Carefully removing the tape...

Looks alot more promissing..

The instructions of the strip says to use sandpaper after cutting, i tried that, and the glue residue as seen in the pic above is almost totally gone, so i decided that this was enough practising, and continued with the cabinet..

And again the strip is glued into place with the iron..

The corner on the other side needs a little more attention, because the corner is a bit too tight, which gave a problem with cutting..

Anyway, masking tape ready, and time to trim the edges..

I did trim one side, and in the curve that i was talking about, during the cutting, a chip broke out

ah well, now it has a more authentic look, with a little damage

More later..
