All the rest - so, what to think about Greece
« on: February 10, 2012, 11:48:50 PM »
Thought that there finally was an  agreement and that the Greek finally understood that they don't have an alternative. But the latenight news just mentioned that Greek politicians are already backing out one at a time.  :o

My peronal opinion? It's a prayer with no end. I'm pretty pro-European, but in this case  Iwould say, let's keep the € 130 billion in our pocket, it's a waste of money because I think that Greece will go down anyway. Which in the end will be better for us and for the Greek, getting rid of the Euro, together with debt restructuring, will be the only way that Greece can get a competitive price structure again in the long run. It will take a while though and they will need to take a deep and long breath.

It's frustrating.

I think politics is a big theatre and the "actors" are the servants of the world's financial groups.
Most of the s..t that you hear day by day in the TV is simply a lie.
Hungary was also in the world news almost every day in the past 2 months and after some serious international investigation, it revealed, that it was a concentrated financial attack by some "money man" and the CNN!!!
About Greece, I've been there about 8 times, I met very nice people there, but I still have to say, that they should not have to join the EU.
I think it was enough politics for this year. :D

There is only one solution, I should become emporer of Europe !  ;D  ;D
But regretfully nobody believes me....

When the Euro was started, I said Do not do it, sooner or later we are going to pay for the southern countries....8 yeas later : here we are.

Next when things started to go wrong in Greece immediatly I said not a penny into the bottomless pit called Greece because you cant change a country within a year or two.

Again noone listend. The end will be that Greece wil go out of the Euro anyway but instead of having done that right away, we are billions and billions of our tax money further.....politicians are a joke !

All them talking doom scenerios if Greece woild go out of the Euro, pure nonsense and only based on trying to justify their own mistakes. And always the Dutch politicians say the same: Oohhh, the Euro is so important for us, we earned so much money, well take a look at Demark who are doing FINE without it...

But we Dutch have a grwat track record of handing good solid companies on a plate to larger countries....Fokker comes to mind but there are more.

Now KLM is owned by Air France. Last year KLM alone would have made a good profit but because Air France is doing so terrible, they are now doing poorly too

But there are always people who earn MILLIONS on a transaction like that. Most recent example Wavin, being sold to a Mexican company. Geeee, lets see how long production stays in Holland, I give them a year.

Same in pharmacy, Organon a company that is simply doing well, sold to American MSD, now they want to close down Organon, they take the patents and other good stuff and run....

When do we wake up ? There people in key places who have multi million interest in such sell outs. They live a rich life, and all the workers, they dont give a damn....

I totally agree with you on this when it comes to Europe. I believe there are some countries up and coming and they will have surpassed our standard of living by that time. I just hope my little 3 yo boy will be able to move there when he grows up.
