Did you ever see a cab like this?

As I see, there is a Data East pcb in it.

indeed, and judging by the looks a grown up man with large hands can barely play the left controls. In fact Id like to see two people play that at all. The CP is in a "holde" tha looks pretty small and uncomfy....

It is in the free stuff section in our pinball forums with a working monitor. ;)

For free it is not so ugly, ehh? ;D

And here comes the roadtrip report. :D
I guess it won't be too interesting for most of you, because it is not a classic and it's damn ugly. :P
The seller's place was in a small town called Csorna, 150 kms from Budapest and as we are both on holidays this week with Zita, we made this trip together. :-*
There was an extreme strong wind all the way, I had to drive very carefully.

The seller also had 2 nice pinballs

As I expected, it was higher than my car's lenght.

On the way back, we didn't take the motorway, we took the old road called simply 1.
This road is almost fully abandoned, there were just some former communist factories.
The aluminium factory("working is a matter of honour and glory at our place") :D

A cement factory (not Mario's) :D

And the glass factory

I had a really hard time unloading the cab by myself, it is 130 kg, full of metal stuff.
There was an original Fighting fantasy pcb in it

As I expected, it only had a pcb fault, let's see what happens with a different game: ;D

Let's find a horizontal one (18+) ;)

Works great, let's investigate the monitor.
It has some pneumatic system that holds the front door which is too old, so I used my own way to chock it up ;D

The pic was too bright, fortunately I found the brightness pot and it is working.
I've never seen a chassis like this before, I'm not sure if it is not a TV.
Any inputs?

There is an ITT logo in the middle of that white rounded component

There was also an old 10 forint coin in the box, working perefct with the coin mech. :D

That's it, hope you enjoyed. ;D

Hihi nice catch! Cabs for free are always nice even when they are ugly :) I had the same cab in my flat. Bought it for 25 Euros with a Timepilot PCB. It used to sit in the corridor of our flat and my flatmates, especially the two girls loved it :)
Btw. you can simply place a stick on top of the cab underneath the front door near the hinge and it will stay open as well. No need for such a construction :D

This cab is really ugly. The control panel is also a strange construction, but playing alone is ok with it. A 2 player panel will not work with this thing.
`Contrariwise,' continued Tweedledee, `if it was so, it might be; and if it were so, it would be; but as it isn't, it ain't. That's logic.'

Love the road-trip pics !!!! Sure some history behind those old factories !

Free=always good ;) Free monitor=even better ;) Plus spare parts ? ;)

That chassis looks REALLY weird... The set-up of the fly-back looks like an old black and white monitor !
