Looking great Bruno, I must say after all the discussion on how homes are made everywhere, I must say yours is the one guaranteed to be standing long after we're all dead! Cement block construction is sure better than wood beams we used, sure.. Our house is brick, but only a veneer.
I chose a metal building 'cause it was much cheaper than a wood frame building with a shingle roof. I can't imagine how much it's costing you to build this, as it seems you've designed it to be in Tornado Alley, and it would definatley survive a hurricane! I do understand though it has to be much stronger to withstand the snow load. By the way, What is your roof made out of? there were no pix of it going on... How thick, insulated? Is it metal? How is it attached?
