but let us keeping easy with the builings. the ww2 is 65 years ago and the bulidings are present. what do you mean is the best solution with it? rotten or museum? i think none of this both options.
i live in the near of berlin, and there was many similar buildings like this. especially the airport tempelhof. and what is the problem with it? in our generation is nothing the same like in 1940s... and we have nothing to do with it...
My friend, your attitude is very dangerous. You sound like you want to forget what has happened. I have a bit other view, but that's probably has to do with this:
http://www.google.nl/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=bombardement+rotterdam+1940&oe=UTF-8&redir_esc=&um=1&ie=UTF-8&hl=nl&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&ei=tHvnTvO3O46f-wbOj6ntCg&biw=1607&bih=1033&sei=xHvnTofNO4e6-AbVvezuCgand my father-in-law who's brother was shot by the Nazi's, my mother who had to live in the south of the country, away from her own family, my dad who walked for days to Friesland to find some food...and they were the lucky one's.
The heart of my city was wiped-out by the Nazi's and the most stupid thing we can do is pretend it never happened.
Mind you, through this hobby I found some of my best friends in Germany. (You guys know who you are

) And it's nothing to do with "blaming" anyone today...
Yes this is a thing of the past, thank God, but by keeping remembering what happened maybe we can prevent mad men driving us into insane wars like this.
That Zeppelin place I know well from the war films and IMHO yes it should have either been torn down or made a place of remembrance...not to keep on partying.
But let's not cloud this thread with a discussion like this...if you want, "All the rest" is probably the best place..
