The dutch and belgian Zaccs arrived
« on: November 15, 2011, 08:20:25 PM »
At last, yesterday I received the Zaccs from Chris's warehouse raid and from André's warehouse groupbuy. :D
As you can see, there are no bezels in the machines, but I already have the replacements, one Phoenix that Erik gave me at Eurocade and the second one will get a nice Scramble bezel.
Both cabs have immaculate sidearts, the Phoenix is absolutely complete and it has a very unique cpo. ;D

Chris was so kind and also sent me 4 MTC 900 chassises, 2 Zacc coin doors and a very special surprise ;D

I'm sending million thanks for Chris and to all of you (André, Etienne, Pascal, Kid, etc.) who helped me get this beauties. ;)

That is a really good question. :D
I think I will keep 2, one with the Space Station and one with the Astronaut sideart, one goes to my nephew for his 18th birthday (in 2021 ;D) and I will sell 2 for the hungarian fanatics. ;D

Checked the Phoenix, psu and tube are fine, pcb dead, chassis need some repair, perefct time to test the Atlas Peak ESR. :D
The other Zacc has no pcb and I'm not sure which connector they applied in it, it has 22 pin, but as I see they used it for a 18 pin game.
It also has weird interface board.

I'm not sure if it is not a Vanguard connector, I will have to make some measurements to investigate it. ;)

Vanguard is 2x22 pins. Even if your connector would really supposed to be wired for a 2x22 pin game it couldn't be Vanguard as it would miss either +12 or +5V: http://www.crazykong.com/pins/Vanguard.pin.txt

Must be true. :D
I really don't understand why did they put that extra interface pcb in it, lot of pointless wiring and soldering. :-\

AFAIK, every cab from this old operator had this.
It was like "his own way" of connecting the PCBs.
Jamma or non-jamma all had this nice extra "Michel's (that's his name) touch".

Those are crimp terminals....if he did all of his cabs like that he should have bought a crimp-tool ;)

By the way....all raise hands who love "old operators". Thanks to them we got some very special machines now !!

The cab with this connector is from André's dutch warehouse. :P
Seems like Michel kept everything fully original in the Phoenix, it even has a caged pcb with the original metal plate. :D

Sorry, my bad.
Good for you because most of the other cabs from there had his special custom connector.
