DAY 3: BELGIUM - GERMANYonce again an early wake-up because i have to drop off the van before 1pm

everyone else is still asleep, so it's my time to take care of the cat

first: some food

then: some love

let's jump into the van ...

... and head home!

enjoying a well-balanced breakfast on the road

slowly but surely, the sun's coming up

while taking a short break, i'm sending a text message to patrik telling him that i'll be at the storage at around noon so that he can come over to help me. he'd better be there ...

12 o'clock at the storage, guess who's
NOT here! this means i'll have to unload everything A-L-O-N-E, noone else around at this time of day!

suddenly his daughter ronja shows up telling me that patrik should be here shortly, but since i'm an a very tight schedule i can't afford to wait for his arrival, so i'll have to continue alone - for now. well, at least someone's here to take some pictures of "an old dude working his butt off"

i love making stressed exaggerated faces (although those machines really
are heavy)

number two is out ...

... and parked at a temporary location. i'm already done, patrik where are you?

the story so far

let's get out that taito cab

very dirty underneath

taito transport log

that was the prelude, now on with the main dish, the heavy beasts: release the titans!

xybots to the front please

if only
HE could help me - would be a piece of cake then!

without him, it's much more difficult

only one cab left - and bentley bear is no little helper here

man, i'm so sweaty! why can't i collect stamps?

unloading completed!!!

only two things left to do: return the "autumn van" ...

... and show you the final statistics picture!
YESSS, i did make it on time!!!

one continent, one island, four countries, 2015 kilometers, 47 hours 50 minutes on the road - this roadtrip is OFFICIALLY OVER!p.s.: patrik showed up when i had unloaded the crystal castles from the van
