Aftermath:
I had noticed that the sound regularly produced a "scratchy" sound...pretty faint, but annoying enough for me.
I took a guess to what was causing it and I had ordered a new volume pot from Twistywrist together with all the Q*bert parts,
Just installed it: crystal clear sound
(ok there's some very faint hum,,but that is how it's supposed to be
)
Bas contacts and bad pots people....they are more common then bad caps, yet all the focus goes out to those....
