Most anti-Apple people act so because of their prejudice.
Most of them never even TRIED an Apple product.
But I'm not talking anybody into one anymore. I used to when I was a PC user. People who knew nothing about computers and wanted one for home use, I advised to get an Apple. Of course nobody listened. Then the phone started ringing because they couldn't get this or that basic thing working. Then I kindly reminded them of my advice and wished them luck....

I was able to keep my PC's running because I knew a lot about them. I never loved them though.
I kept using my Jackintosh (Atari ST) well into the 90's until I couldn't anymore. At the time, Apple was no serious alternative.
Buying a Mac Mini in 2006 (being tired of maintaining Windows machines instead of using them) was one of my better decisions in life.
