Okay, time for some testing with the graphics..

some stretching here and there and here you go dad, i also laminated it while i was at it...




After some cutting and checking, this starts to look like a cabinet..




Just drilled the holes for the buttons and joystick, and gave it a try..
not bad if you ask me  




Then my wife came to me; Honey i got you a present...  




She remembered Super Ully's gumball aventure, and thought this would go nice with it since its almost the same scale

Next up, filling all the holes and dents with bondo, and then its time to paint the "visible" parts.

I have been thinking about tmolding, but i have not find something that looks like it and also fits the width of the wood..

but lets see, its not finished yet  

I have put some bondo here and there, and will sand it down later, it should be dry and hard by now..

next up monitor area, this needs to come to life too ofcourse, and not to forget the audio...  

I have 3 working buttons... one for the marquee, one for the monitor part and the last button i was thinking to use to initiate the audio sample..

also i need to see where to leave the batteries for with the electronics...

i mean, the free space that the batteries take, will create less space for all those €€€€€ that need to flow in 

well i guess i can also empty it when its full..

Little time today, but i did managed to extract the guts from the bicycle headlights:



They blink random in different patterns with a touch of a button.
I was thinking to position them under the two words "Money"




And since tomorow i will be going to my customer with the sealmachine, i prepared the final graphics




I also went to my mother to take some pics of the back of the cab, and scaled them down too..



Yes, you see it correctly, there is a new serial sticker there.. "V 000.001"

Not sure if it would be too big, but I've got a PocketPC (anyone still remember those things ? ) here that runs Windows Mobile, wasn't there a Mame for that ? Think the screen might be too big though... It's a Medion...can't find the charger but it should work...

I think "Cools" over at the Arcade Otaku forum had a 3/4inch crt for sale, some 6 month ago, he never sold .... not sure though ....
