I would like to do both an upright Daytona and an EDOT, though, i don't have any measures so its a bit hard

not at all actually, it´s pretty strait forward...
But if i was you, ill start by making simple things.... adding textures can be tricky..., they have to be the exact size in CM/MM as the model, or at least a size you can divide a hole number in...
