Games we play, day by day

It's not a beginning of a song, just thought I start a new thread about the arcade games we play day by day. ;D
I think most of us have a great collection of cabinets and pcbs, but there are a lot of games we used to play 10-20 years ago that we've forgotten or can't remember clear, maybe we can bring back each other's memories.
I'm starting to post here the games I play, if you think it's a good idea feel free to join me! ;)
Today I started with Roc'n Rope, it is one of my favourites, it has unique gameplay, very nice graphics and great music.

Than my 6 years old nephew arrived from Brussels and we played some Double Dragon and Cadillacs & Dinos on my 1073 in 1 pcb:

I realized by now, that I'm the only one here who play arcade games, not just restore them, so I keep posting: :P
Yesterday's pick was Moon Ptarol with my brother's kid, I controlled the car, he handled the buttons.We can make it to end and I realized, that the car's pink colour turns into red at second stage ;D




As he's Grandpa is italian, he is a huge Ferrari fan, so Outrun was next:

I don't play every day simply because I don't have the time every day. I also have "periods" of what game I play. I haven't been playing galaxian much lately, more Ms.Pac but I'm sure that will reverse back too some time and of course other games. Berzerk is still one of my favorites and mmmmmm, now the SW is back up and running I'm sure I will be doing some practice most days.

However, at the moment it's work work work, not only on my gameroom. Have just installed a (small) flat screen TV (my first one !) in the sleeping room (so my wife can watch something else when I watch football) ;)

Bigger job than you think....

Still have to do a couple of curtains too....one for my gameroom ! :)

Now I'm going to work on the SW a bit more...pics on BYOAC !

I'm still trying to do a nice Q*bert score ... but it's so difficult   >:(

difficult to find time to play lately, new born son, house to maintain ( water pump died , water flood & terrace to redo), besides that i need to start wip on my cabs :p

anyways ,when i play arcade, i try to improve my skills with a 1 credit game to ghouls'n ghost.

I just played R-type and yesterday a bit of Donkey Kong.

But at the moment my games also get little play time, I'm busy with other stuff. When my gameroom will be finished I might develop a routine so that I can secretly go to my gameroom (which will be in a separate shed) without noticing my wife that I came home. And then, after half an hour or so, I will walk into the house, with a big smile, asking her how her day was.  :D

Hey where's the Centi restore pics ?

How's the trackball now ?

I love Centi, it's SO thrilling. If you're on "the fly" you can score really well, but then you can play ten games and never reach a good score....

and more good news: The SW is back to working condition AND so is my Ms.Pac Man !  WOOHOO

I still will need a new CPO someday and do some other small other work. Trackball plays great, a BIG improvement.

PS I also installed the buttons on the Rolling Thunder, thanks again for those  :D

Back to the topic. Tonight I'm going to play Bomb Jack against a friend of mine, it's what we call a SNACKBAR GAME

I am into BombJack and Up´n Down.

Even nicer to play games now that i have a no nag version of the latest MameUI32 in use.
