man, i'd l-o-v-e

to add a
gun fight to my classic b/w collection so so much. in fact, i had already bought the sequel
boot hill (which has a slighty better gameplay and that colorful backdrop) last year in england. however, i had to cancel my 2009 summer trip to the island, but the seller said he could keep it until this year if i made a down payment - which i did! when i contacted the seller this year for a potential pickup date (i had planned on bringing it back along with those games from rav on my big england roadtrip), he had to give me some sad news: he got kicked out by his girl-friend and when he returned to pick up some more of his stuff, she had already dumped 3 of his arcade machines - amongst them the boot hill

i got my money back, but i'm still extremely depressed when i think of it. the game was in great working condition, came with an extra control panel PLUS a spare pcb board - everything one could wish for. the only thing which keeps the memory alive is a picture of the colorful backdrop!
rest in peace - boot hill!
