Guys, do you remember that I bought an original Pooyan PCB from World of Lies, but that it never arrived.  ;D

Of course, we all rememebr this thread about world of lies.

and now I got a PM from robinholland (thanks Robin) with a ebay link: http://cgi.ebay.de/Pooyan-Arcade-Pcb-original-Konami-/380276397824?pt=Automaten&hash=item588a3d5700

Could this be the one I bought last year? Don't think so because that one didn't exist. Still I really would like to have an original Pooyan PCB. But we all know that Stefan can't be trusted. what do you say guys, shall I buy it, with Paypal protection etc., or not? It's tempting.

if it makes you happy to go through it again i would say goodluck.

if you want my honest opinion, i would say wait another source because my feeling says you need a miracle to receive it from WOL

or go for a pickup, but in that case i hope you are not in front of a closed door...

i wouldn't buy it if i were you. auctions without pictures of the actual item are always suspicious and W.O.L. clearly states in the description that he isn't going to send / take any more pics of the item ...

enough said!!!
all i need is ... PONG - and a select few others: TOUCH ME, DRAGON'S LAIR, JOUST, ROBOTRON, MR DO, SAN FRANCISCO RUSH THE ROCK!!!

If I were you, I would send him a message via ebay, that you already paid for this item, so he MUST remove it from there and send it to you for FREE!
It is worth a try! ;)

Belike, after a long time, and a lot of hassle, I did get my money back. So actually he doesn't owe me anything but an apology.  :D

Ah sorry, I thought he also kept your money! :D
Btw. I sent him a message about his Namco Galaxian a few weeks ago, but no answers as usual and his website is also dead, so "you better avoid it"!
I'm sure we will find you a Pooyan pcb somewhere soon! ;D

why not buying it with paypal,...
As there's the paypal protection program, if you ever receive it , you'll just have to fill a paypal claims saying you never received the item and get back your money ,so you'd have a free pooyan in damage of the hassle that guy provocated to you. If you'll not receive it as expected, then fill a legit paypal claim

not really honest, i confess, but it's the game of world of lie ...

He says it is working, but he doesn't want to show a picture of the PCB. For all I know it is a heavily repaired board, with loads of wires and solder. wouldn't like that, even if it is working 100%. I want a clean board, also for possible future sales.

I bought the Taito Sub Hunter machine Stefan had on eBay.de - I had a call today to say it has been delivered at my parents house. I will be going later to check it out. But I must say it was a very easy transaction (and I have had poor ones from him in the past) - maybe things are getting better?
