I think I'm still pretty lucky when I see all those troubles with sellers, I've only lost money once. I bought a few anime dvd's on ebay from a seller located in the US. It were 6 dvd's, only 5 arrived. I contacted the seller that there was one missing: "no problem, I'll ship it right away"...NOT! Tried to get my money back with paypal but no go, tried a complaint with ebay but no go either.

One other time I bought a few comic books (also from a US ebay seller) but they never arrived, that time I got a full refund from paypal.

Please note I don't have anything against US sellers, it's just these two times I had troubles they were from the US. I have bought lots of stuff from there before and after those incidents without any problem

I just remember, there was another incident, not the sellers fault that time. I bought a few active car audio crossovers (Audiocontrol) from someone (also located in the US

). About two weeks later I get a letter from customs that there is a package for which they need identification for it's contents. Ok, I fill in the letter and send it back. About a good week later I still didn't receive any package, so I called the customs office (phone number from the letter I got) but they didn't know of the package number...WTF? After several redirects and other calls (total about 15~20 calls) on other days I just gave up.....the package was clearly lost. I paid over $400 for these devices

NOW, exactly
ONE YEAR later (it was februari, I still remember that) I get an email from the seller that his package that he sent a year ago showed up at his doorstep! F*cking A-holes at the customs office

! The seller kindly offered to send again or a refund. I didn't want to go trough all the troubles again so I took the refund.
