Ok..picked up a DL 2 machine that was mostly complete. It was missing a working 1450, but I had one..
All the wiring and stuff is there. Clean machine two..
Once I got everything into the machine and hooked it all up all I get when I turn on the machine is a "checker box" pattern on the screen. No beeps or anything to signal the machine is booting. Plus, on the main PCB, none of the lights come on (the little green light and the two red lights). Here is what I have done so far:
Unplugged and replugged in everything
checked baud rate on 1450 (plus the other six swithes)
cleaned disc
flipped disc over to see if I would get the "Content for this disc is on other side" message (which I did get...)
Any other suggestions? Nothing shows up on the checkered screen when I move the joystick or hit the sword buttons either...so I don't think it is stuck in some service mode..
Anyway, thanks for the help! Will post picks once the machine is up and running!
