I have two Pi's
the "old" version though. (raspberry pi version B (512mb)

both in a nice "RS" case.

One is running my webserver (where i host my pictures that i display here, and Muerto's pics).
The other i have connected to my TV which runs XBMC (Open Elec)
The main reason i switched to a pi instead of my proliant server is the energy cost.
for the my use, its performing the same as my windows box (hosting forum pictures), the performance of that is limited by my bandwith, and thats lower than the pi can deliver (120 Mbit down and 12 Mbit Up)
One is powered through the USB port on my nas (which is on anyway), and the other i have powered by a simple Phone charger.
I had it connected to the USB port of my tv in the beginning, but when my tv is in standby mode, the power to the USB port is also gone.
that resulted in alot of ungracefull shutdowns, and one time caused a boot failure because of a corrupted filesystem.
now its just running 24/7 but its only 5 watt orso.
I would like to experiment more with it, but time is Always the issue...
