I'd personally prefer a small tool (ROM Wizard is about 500kB) with internet query if you really need it.
Are there any othe opinions around here? I'd appreciate more input...
Hi Wolfgang,
Well what is 16MB in today's word of Terabyte harddrives ? But still please let me understand....wouldn't it be possible to pass on the info RomWizard finds about a ROM you've loaded and then do a webquiry on
http://romident.coinopflorida.com ?
This would make the off-line 16Mb file unnecessary (which would also be requiring updates I assume).
If you need help with the English (or Dutch

) version let me know. I think the program will get a lot more users when it's available in English.
And I have another request: Please make drag and drop possible.....it is SO 1994 to have to go through menu's to open files .....

I'd really love to be able to drag a ROM file onto one of those big ROM pictures and load it that way.
It is the more intuitive way and that's what the mouse/window system was designed for

Another very cool add would be if RomWizard would calculate some ROM signatures like the Fluke 9010A signature. For me the 9100A would even be better, but it seems that there is only 1 person in the world who knows how the algorithm for that signature is and so far he doesn't seem to want to share it (I don't know who he is, I just read about this rumor....)
