Ghouls`n Ghosts PCB
« on: December 29, 2013, 10:12:31 PM »
Hi Guys,

i would need help finding exact information about the GG-PCB.
Please look at the attached photo...is this a conversion board or a dedicated GG PCB ?
It looks like that a few roms are missing but the seller told me that it works fine - no clue...i have included a second photo from another PCB which has 8 more Roms on the right side of the PCB.

Would appreciate any help.

I don't know this pcb, but it could well be that they used bigger roms to store the code, it is going from 16 to 8 so it could be they used roms dubble the size.

Seen now that the other picture uses an additional bigger rom near the 8 on your board, so they compressed 8 smaller roms in one bigger rom. This is still perfectly possible

Top one is a conversion. You can see the eprom windows where they have been blanked and reburnt.

The bottom is an official conversion/ Japanese version.
