badlands - cool pickup! you're getting there with your gameroom, bart, keep the games coming. and the ratio of working / partially working / non-working games is probably normal :P
all i need is ... PONG - and a select few others: TOUCH ME, DRAGON'S LAIR, JOUST, ROBOTRON, MR DO, SAN FRANCISCO RUSH THE ROCK!!!

It’s time for a update arcade life is slow, extreme slow no money and to busy with other things.

Only lucky me, this weekend started my two week holyday so decided to spent some time in the arcade.

Decided it was time to do some work

----

First thing done made a nice plastic window for my neo geo hard to see on the pic but made one just for fun.

----

Than a project that is gameroom decoration for 8 years now I think: sega hangon dlx up and running the problem was that the original screen was missing when I god it that is 18” and when I god it they fitted in a 12” into a wood panel not look okey. Also the board wasn’t working had a spare board for a long time and 2 mounds ago I found myself a 17” that was great for this project
The end result:

----
Next project vindicators missing the sound board of mine and got one from ully a long time ago(thanks)  :)
Decided it was time to test it waited already too long.

After a bit of cleaning

So I am really happy now the owner of a working vindicators  to one of the thump buttons not working .
And my biggest problem the game is German :?, so I hope its possible to replace the roms for English one’s
----
Also some new toys got myself a pacman

Sorry did I mention pinball it’s a mission impossible project but looks fun so I decided to get it for the moment I get bored. :P

and because my photo play 2000 decided to stop working. I got a new one a silverball and the most important part it got a 18+ option strange reason everybody plays it now ::) ???

So this was the update
coming days I hope to rearrange the arcade so I can fit in a few more caps got a crowded at the moment

Nice work Bart !

I like the Hang on  :spaceace:

I only think that the "non deluxe" (upright) controls more easy, but defenetly a cool game!

Not entirely true. Just stand over the bike with your feet on the "ground" and move it left and right as if it was one giant joystick. Doesn't give you the "feel" but I play much better that way  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Nice going Bart !!!

But back to arcade

No, not at the moment is a big project also i have the upright and the Electronics from the upright will go in the full size.
whit the rebuilt of the game room I left space around it so I hope to start working on that one soon

Yes its complete back class is in two parts one part is oke one in bad condition
Will shoot some pictures.

@reboot hope yours in better condition than mine, will be a learning process whit airbrush to get it oke again.
Also the cpu board of mine is bad bud have 6 spare ones so I will get one of them working

Little impression for the moment YouTube makes the video a bit darker than I wanted, and it looks real dark in the game room.
In real life it isn’t that worse (wil make a beter video later)

Lots of small projects coming this weekend to start whit a new toy
Every arcade needs some background sound

Two time 230 wats max and also a great heater for the winter time
Not really heavy  but most important got it cheap so for now I am happy whit it it’s a nice replacement of 3 smaller amplifiers I was running before.

Tha amp enjoy’s it
whats wrong whit the music

A nice mix of this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJWmzbWas_Q

and this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ta-Z_psXODw

got walls of the arcade moving ;D
only downside is I think that once a mound I will neat to bolt down every bolt of the game’s  because the vibration pulls them out ;)
