I have rev D eproms in my game at the moment, 5 of them and they work fine. I wanted to try out the enhanced roms done by Dave Hollocks over at dragons lair project. I downloaded the v2.1 data and read the read me looks like you only need 3 rooms now and they should be 2764 compatible. I ordered some M27c64 rooms from marlin in the UK and a Chinese chepo rom burner from bay, it's a Topwin 2004.
The only rom option in it's menu that looked close was 27c64-12.7v so I used this, loaded the data for each rom and programmer the chips. Theybverify fine and have data on them.
Problem is the Dragons Lair will not boot up with them in, I get a load of 0's and 9's on the scoreboard and no laser activity. Put the old ones back in and it runs fine.
Can anybody help me?
