Today it was snowing in Denmark, so i decided to go out to the company where i work, and make some frames to some of the marquees i bought a long time ago.
And here it´s how it´s done (or the way i did it

)
First i found 2 wooden planks which i cut down to 20mm x 600mm:

The result:

Here is the irons that i used to cut a slit into the wood, that would hold the marquee:

Exactly 5mm! - the marquees waries a bit in thickness, from 3,5mm to 5mm...

The cutter tool mounted in the router:

Theres a mechanical tool that moves the wood into the spinning blade, so you don´t risk cutting your fingers:

Did a short run on one of the boards to see if it was ok.... and it was:

The blade spinning at 3000 rpm, but the flash on the camera makes it freeze, quite cool!

Here it is again, from the top without flash:

When both "planks" was done i cut them with a big knife-cutter:

Nailed the corners:

First one done:

When i got home i removed the marquee...

so i could spray them:

the result..

Later today they will get a second coat of black, and i will mount some light in the boxes... i hope it will look cool....
