Monitor color problem

Hi to all of you, I have a maybe strange problem: on my arcade cabinet I have some color problems, it looks like there's to much green in it. I've tried to change it by tweeking the colors but it doesn't help. I think it must be a general problem with those brand of arcade-monitors because I had the same problem a few years ago with that same brand of monitor, it's an Intervideo VP210. With the first monitor I did'nt work on it, to sceared to put a hand on it, so I sold the damn thing with the cabinet.
Does any of you have an idea what could cause that problem and would it possible to repair it?

I think that you have some stains of color on the CRT
if it is so you have to operate the degaus

a photo would be useful
there is however a special section to speak of matters tech

On the neck board there are 2 BIG resistor for each color
IIRC one is 39K and one is 56K omh or something like that, test them with a multimeter I bet at least 1 is fault
this is a common problem for this monitor.

Thanks, I've checked the electrical diagram of the monitor and did already found the 39Kohm-resistor, I'll check the monitor-neckboard itself as soon as possible, when my kids are not arround (looks safer to me).

Well ok, finaly, after more than 3 years of searching I found the problem with my cab-monitor. As I was always using the cab with the ultimarc j-pac I never thought about the fact that this could be the problem.
Last weekend, I started up the cab and it seems something was wrong with the buttons, so I've checked them and I found out some of them were sticking. No problem, just chanched them and everything was ok again. But as I was working on the buttons I've had that crazy idea of changing the J-pac with a new one, I've bought this one some 5 years ago as secondhand so don't ask how old it is.
Today DHL delivered my new J-pac and I installed it into my cab and guess what: Nice bright colors, no more greenish, it just needed some tweeking to get it all nice and neat.
Well that's it, I'm so glad I was a little lazy and stingy to change the monitor and not buy a new one, got the parts changed you guys had told me to a few years back.
