I don't quite understand the power selection connectors wire color though. I've seen Brown, Blue and Yellow and Violet is indicated too but I've never seen that AFAIR.
This one seems to have a "white" set. Anyway, going to go with the brown setting anyway, this is for 240VAC which I always prefer to use.

I'll just check the connections to see what the white one is set up for, my guess is 120VAC. Let's hope they didn't connect it like that directly to European mains....

Got this baby running just fine ! :):)

Fixed all the missing wires and temporarily hooked up the Big Blue just for testing with some crocodile clamps.

Used the brown voltage selection plug as that is what I need.

Get 13,7 Volts DC across the Big Blue, and an AC rimple of 0.00 to 0.01 so BRs BiG Blue works excellent.

I checked all the outgoing voltages AC and DC, all 100%

Very happy with this unit, next step is hooking up the spare AR2 that I bought earlier and then we have a full workbench set up for Atari games. Nice to be able to work on stuff outside a cab.

Just checked, the white color power adapter (whit wires/light gray) wires is set up as the Blue version, so it's 220V.

This means this Power brick was definitely for Europe/UK only since it came with only the connectors for 220V and 240V.

Hey guys......remember this:

The most beautiful Atari Power Brick I've ever seen and all it was missing (ok except of the Big Blue holder) was 1 lousy screw to connect the 2nd terminal of the Big Blue.

What do you think....this week I am working at a datacenter in 020. You know, these datacenters with rows and rows of 19" racks filled to the brim with servers and RAID harddisk sets on a raised floor.

Well, the "fun" part if that there are often smoke detectors under those raised floors as well and this means removing tiles, sticking your head through the hole, find the detector and test it. Luckily I have some assistance of a younger colleague but when he opened tile nr. 18 or so, I saw something.

There on the floor was.......................a screw.

Now, to fully understand: this datacenter was built following British standards. This means all electricity piping (incl. for the fire alarm) is METAL pipes and UK sized boxes, switches etc. etc. which is really weird for us.

Anyway I notice that screw....on the floor about 70 cm. below the raised floor and I was standing up....and I think....WTF.....that looks like the screw I need ! And this may be actually an imperial sized screw because of all the UK stuff they used to install stuff there...

So I get on my knees, pick up the screw....my colleague is saying, why the hell do you pick that up and I say....just wait, I'll tell you tomorrow :)

So I just tried it and it is THE PERFECT SCREW !!!  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I guess the arcade gods have deep and strange ways...... ;D ;D ;D

It's still missing on that pic. It is exactly the same as the one on the picture on the other terminal...
