Which Battery replacement to use for Qix
« on: May 29, 2013, 11:16:31 PM »
The original NiCad battery (3.6V?) on my Qix board set has been removed by a previous owner, and I would like to install a new one, preferably a rechargable battery. Who could point me to such a good replacment battery?

And who knows of an internet shop where I can get some 4164 ram IC´s?

Thanks to Level42, who pointed me to some addresses (think the Bay), the 4164 question has been answered.

About the battery on a Qix board, here are two pictures of the battery location on my board (no, the sloppy soldering is not mine, could have been though  :D ).

As you can see there is a ´circuit breaker´ soldered, which I believe is not original. What could be the purpose?
