Atari Missile Command and Liberator Trak-Balls
« on: April 10, 2012, 11:28:41 PM »
Hi all,

I just got a Missile Command Cabaret and plan to also install an Atari Liberator board in it and switch between both games. BUT. MC is a mini Trak-Ball and Liberator is a midi one.

So here is my question: Do you think Liberator will play (very) different with a mini TB instead of midi? And any other issues I don't see coming here?

Thanks,
Thomas

I think there's no difference. In upright MC cabs a 4"-TB is used and I have never heard that there are different PCB-versions for uĆ¼pright and cabaret/cocktail. So I'd just give it a try :)

Hmm, I think there are dip switch settings to change between mini and maxi TB on Missile Command boards...

Did anyone ever play Millipede on a Centipede cab? This would be a similar setup I guess. Well yeah, I will just give it a shot anyway.
