I need to try to Dondonpachi, Border Down,... or some Cave games 

When I have my gameroom opening party, and when you are coming, then you can play some nice cave games. For instance MF 1.54, Pink Sweets, Espgaluda 2, or another one. You even could end up with a New Astro. 

 

Egret 2 isn't what I call an recent cabinet : The screen is the same as the one on the astro.
That said, it's a matter of personal taste.
