He is offering a store credit of $1000 when you transfer him $500. Ann you can even use the credit for the special discount prices that he is offering right now.

This is strange, I haven't seen a stunt like this before, ever! Could be a good thing, but could also be a very risky thing to do. Good case scenario: you could end up getting things very very cheap from Dave. Worst case scenario (2 of them): you could loose $500 because Dave is getting out of business before you used it, or you might loose some money because your purchases are not 'insured' by Paypal (there is no direct relation between the 'gift' payment of $500 and the later purchase and shipping).

Anyway, this deal is something to consider. But given the amount and the parts I need, it should be a team effort.

No, indeed. and Ram Controls has a good name, although Dave is a bit slow with delivering his great SW Flight Yoke Controller. And it is a bit strange that people who bought and paid for this controller months ago for the price of $ 275 (without yoke overlay) but still didn't receive it yet, are not entitled to get it for the lowered price of $ 225 (with yoke overlay). He is in his right of course, but still ....  Anyway, I'm glad that I didn't order my SW stuff yet, but I probably will order it now.
