Me too (esp. Lunar Lander), but it's not possible for me so this is an excellent alternative...

I don't quite see the sense in this as you would need to swap the control panels or build a custom one (for the LL thrust controller)

Isn't Lunar Lander a bit dull gameplay? I mean, can you shoot something? But the thrust handle is a neat feature of course. However, If we are speaking of Atari vector games, then I would prefer Black Widow, Space Duel or Tempest much more.

Wow some very positive responses here !

I have a weak spot for Lunar Lander for various reasons:

1) 1st Atari vector game
2) played it in my youth
3) great game

Nothing dull about it IMHO. My son loves it on his DS, but that lacks the essential thruster of course. Not to mention vector graphics...

Oh, and DEMOLITION ? See what happens when you crash

And yes I would swap CP's, why not ? It's a 10 seconds job....

Oh, and do we forget the ultimate Asteroids set-up: An Asteroids Deluxe cab playing the original game instead of Deluxe

Still, I haven't GOT a Asteroids (Deluxe) (only Asterock) and I doubt the kit will work on bootleg hardware.

It's not about the kit, or controls, its the SCREEN!   

If it isn't in the orignal Vector monitor, it isn't the same..   

I have an ultracade with Asteroids in it, and it's fun, but it doesn't have the same impact. 

I still want an Asteroids Cocktail and upright.!!

Uhhhhh This kit is to be installed on a real Asteroids or Asteroids Deluxe PCB. So it's running on a vector monitor.....as it is intended to be !

Maybe it's not clear to all but you install this kit on the original hardware. It merely adds two extra games to be played: Asteroids Deluxe and Lunar Lander. PLUS you get hi-score saving (GREAT).
