Those are great games you are listing there.

All classics.

Lets make a new start, lets forget the drag queen party, as i am not really dressing up like a woman also.

It just derailed when your first post here was "i need help to f#ck up a good classic game"

So lets rephrase that;

"i need help to hook up a pc crt monitor in my cabinet as a probably temporary solution untill i find a real arcade replacement monitor"

I dont have any personal experience with these converters, so i can not help you very much.

Perhaps Darthnuno can, he has one in the APB from the thread you reffered to earlier.

Good luck !

Edit: darthnuno was posting when i was typing :D

  I agree, I do apologize to the entire forum for my actions, I now see what everyone was trying to say that I took as attacks. I will be picking up a monitor from a member from klov as soon as we make an agreement on a day\time to meet. I never wanted to go thru all this with my beloved Tron, I just wanted to play it. But thank you and everyone for still giving me advice and help after all this. I hope to have this monitor soon.

Understood, I am new at this, a complete newbie. When I bought this Tron, I did not look at it as a classic, but as a part of my past and one of my favorite games, others are Galaga,Satans Hollow and Bosconian. I never thought of repairs and such, I like DIY, it makes you learn, so, here I am. I reread what I wrote earlier, I thought I wrote Drama Queens, there was so much Drama,LOL!! Did not mean anything from it, just a stupid statement as you would normally hear in real life if you are in a crowd causing Drama.

Here is what I am trying to use, just do not know the correct wiring to connect it:

 That is what this post is supposed to be about, that converter and properly connecting it.

What about a 19 inch vga monitor? I just want to play my beloved Tron while I find a crt. I am tired of fixing this crappy vision pro, it is what came with it. I have a flatscreen LCD computer monitor, and a 19 inch crt monitor, both are vga. I found the klov and someone some what local said he has some monitors for sale, has not said a price yet. I am trying to understand board level, up on this Tron. It has been sitting long enough, I still go to therapy, and can barely walk, not much left in life for me. I do not want a flatscreen or computer monitor to be permanent either. I just asked for guidance and advice on this, that is all. I have been googling like crazy on this and found some good and some bad websites on this.

Wow, I came here based on this post "https://www.dragonslairfans.com/smfor/index.php?topic=630.0" hoping for real grown up help, instead I get a bunch of ignorant childness comments. Screw it, I will make this Tron unit into a Mame box, already have everything I need. I did nothing wrong to any of you, all I did was ask a question, so I am a newbie to using forums and did not understand, small simple mistake, that makes a good reason to blast me? I must have came to a drag queen festival, because this straight man don't fit in......excuse me "ladies".

My apologies, my nick is Reno, got it from my drill seargant in the Army, I live in Florida USA. I bought this Tron unit non working, had a bad rom, replaced chip, working again. Tron came with the Vis Pro. Have been looking for a crt replacement, hard to find. I found some 27 inch crt's and some 13 inch. Everywhere i look is convert to LCD. I just want to be able to play my Tron again. I had back surgery and it went wrong, so for alittle more than a year the Tron has been sitting collecting dust. I was hoping for help here.

I am trying to use a LCD monitor in place of the 19" CRT CGA Vision Pro I have now in it, as the monitor needs to be yet fixed again. I am done, I just want to use the LCD. I have a converter, I connect the wires, plug in the converter and lcd,but no signal, I switch thru everything. I guess maybe I have it wired wrong? What is the pinout? I have Red,Blue,Green,White,Yellow with a silver intwined wire,2 black and a gray. So I guess what I am trying to get here is this:
Blck=ground
Red=Red
Blue=Blue
Green=Green
White=Vertical Synch
Gray=Horizontal Synch
Yellow\Silver=Signal
 and if possble Red to Red, Blue to Blue,and so forth,but connecting same color wires does no good right as of now. Tron is the older boards, MCRII, non Jamma.

 I also was thinking of using this http://www.ebay.com/itm/110934177453?_trksid=p2060778.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT  .
Anyone use one of those? My crt tube is 10 pin, yoke ohms is 15 ohms low impedance and 45 ohms High Impedance. or something like that. I recapped this chassis, and was working, then either the flyback or horizontal out went bad, maybe both. The monitor was about one and a half years old when I got this tron unit, worked great, then the picture started being distorted and I saw a few caps swollen, so recapped, then about 4 or 6 months later, the picture horizontal started to close until no raster, nothing, black screen as if it was not turned on.
 Sorry so long of a post, trying to be thorough to be helpful.
