Thanks a billion scr33n.  I wish I had something interesting to tell.  My buddy and I got a couple of NBA Jam style cabs for $50 each and thought it would fun to restore them for mame.  $2000 later I'm still not satisfied, so I'm continuing the money pit until I'm happy.

I laminated all the external surfaces, rebuilt the control box (which was the most frustrating part of the whole build), reviewed and tested hundreds of dollars worth of controls, and now I'm finally ready to wire it up.

For the cab theme I chose Galaga, which gave me hours and weeks and months of satisfaction as a teenager. I got side art and a custom sized marquee.  The t-molding and all the controls are green.  An artist friend is working on a custom control panel overlay.  I thought about just printing a sticker for the plastic bezel, but after seeing yours, I decided to silkscreen the smoked plexi.
