OMG!!!
It's been how long now?  6 weeks?  Less?
I picked up a DK jr. last weekend, and I'm driving a couple hours tomorrow to pickup a Ms. Pac Man.  I think I'veBut lost my mind.
I don't even have room for the Ms.!!!
But, I guess it's too late now!  LOL

Cap kit done, monitor re-installed.  After some minor adjustment, it looks really good!!  Just one last bit to work out.  Any suggestions on how to fix?

Hmmm....  it doesn't appear as though there is a picture up there ^
Well, if you can see it, great.  If not, it can be seen here:

but basically, the left side of the screen (about a half inch or so) is being pulled straight down by about an inch and a half (4cm?).
It's not horrible, but I'd like to do away with it.

Suggestions?

Thanks!

Pulled the monitor today.
Yanked (carefully) the boards out of it, and capped the Audio Amp as well as the main monitor board.  I also did the neck board pots, and extension board pots.
Hopefully I can get it all back together and start adjusting/tweaking soon... and then playing!!!!  *crosses fingers*

Did you try to adjust sync? Is it an original board in an original cab with an original Nintendo type monitor?
No - (How?)

I'm in need of a little help diagnosing a video problem with my recently acquired Donkey Kong Jr. I'm having rolling/scrolling lines of video that are mostly blue.  I've cleaned and re-seated 2E & 2F.  I've ordered a cap kit, but it won't be here until tomorrow.  I'm hoping the cap kit will do it, but I'd like to be prepared if it doesn't.  There's a 2:19 video here:

Any and all help appreciated!

Would be better to post your pics viewable in the thread. I think most people won't go through clicking all the links ( I know I hate to do it...)

Will do.

Thank you!  I was VERY pleasantly surprised by how nice the Time Pilot looked when I got there to pick it up.  It's in GREAT shape. The art on the other side is just as complete, and nearly as good - it's slightly sun faded - but not bad at all.
Save for the few bits of rust in the pics, the only thing really wrong with it is the screen is pretty burned.  But even so, the colors are good, and game play is not affected at all.

Ahhhhh...  Yes, pictures.  How could I have been so silly!  Give me a couple minutes, and I'll post a couple of what I have.  None of Popeye just yet.

Hi, I'm new to the club of owners of full size arcade games...  But I think I'm already addicted!
I'm a child of the 80's, and have wanted to have a full size Donkey Kong machine since day one.
I recently picked up a "X-Men vs. Street Fighter" game on the cheap from CraigsList.  Then, just a few days later, I got a Taito "Space Invaders Part II" (Cocktail), simply because it was a good deal.
I figured since I was finding some good deals, that I should look for a Donkey Kong specifically.  I didn't take long.  I found a Donkey Kong (no sound), and a Time Pilot (nearly perfect all the way around) as a set for a good price as well.  OMG!  Where did all these things come from?!!  Where the heck am I going to put them?!!
Oh, how could I forget, about an hour ago, I bought a Popeye that I go pick up tomorrow.

Is there any hope for this addiction?  Do I even really want to be helped?

Well, anyway, hello everyone!!  Just thought I'd introduce myself...  I'm Lance!  Nice to meet you all.

 ;D
