Arcade Lifestyle / Allied Hesitation
« on: February 13, 2019, 07:35:07 PM »
I recently picked up an Allied Hesitation and wrote a blog post about it.
I'm on the lookout for schematics or any paperwork for the game. Also, has anyone on this side of the pond come across a Knock Ball and/or Improbable? Otherwise, LMK what you think.

'Business' Area : Buy/Sell/Trade / Gremlin Frogs shirt
« on: May 31, 2018, 09:07:06 PM »
This Frogs (Gremlin, 1978) arcade video game shirt may be of interest to some of you. Frogs was developed in the 70s by Gremlin before they were bought by Sega. It has no relation to Frogger. A few years later, Intellivision's Frog Bog bore a striking resemblance to Frogs. Shirt is available in tri-blend ($24) and cotton ($20). Once it's out of print in the next couple of weeks, it's done.

The game is a grail for a lot of folks. The cab has a killer reflective swamp background and cool sound. If you get a chance to play one do so. If you're unfamiliar, there's a brief John's Arcade video demo of the game.

'Business' Area : Buy/Sell/Trade / Taitronics shirt

Let's be honest: you'll never probably find a Taitronics cabs are hard to come by, but this shirt is the next best thing. It tells other collectors and those in the know, "Hey, I'm serious about arcade games"

For a very limited time this shirt is available. Available in both athletic tri-blend ($24) and normal cut 100% cotton Gildan ($20) plus shipping. The art has been vectorized like my other shirts, it's gonna be sharp. I ship worldwide.

They will be screened to order like my other shirts, so please be patient. After they're done, they're done. Thanks!

Arcade Lifestyle / Knights in Armor (PSE, 1976) found!
« on: May 12, 2017, 07:59:06 PM »
Acquired a Knights In Armor by PSE. Made a quick demo video of it in action. Any PSE games make it over to this side of the pond?
The first link has music with the action, so click the second one to hear the horses hooves clopping.

Thanks!

Arcade Lifestyle / Bronze Age Arcade Website
« on: July 02, 2015, 03:48:20 PM »
...about my arcade collection. Over the next few months, I'll be sure to add more pictures and words.
http://www.arcade72.com/

Started off with a few posts, including this one about the Taito Speed Race! How many Speed Race's are in Europe/UK?
http://www.arcade72.com/taito-speed-race/

https://www.facebook.com/arcade72
And like the Facebook page, if you're into that sort of thing.

Please let me know if anything on the site is broken or doesn't make sense. Besides the fact that I collect these things.

I'm looking for any of the following:

Wall-mount bronze age games: Breakout, Pong, Canyon Bomber, etc.
Breakout Consolette Unit
Zun Zun Block and/or bronze age b&w Taitos
Gee Bee
...any neat b/w raster that's not readily available stateside.

I have a friend in the UK who's moving to America. The game would need to be shipped to him. Obviously, I cannot pick-up.
Please, message me with what you have available for sale! If you're not sure that I'd be interested, still message me. You never know.

Thanks Guys!

Arcade Lifestyle / Space Invaders Part II found
« on: December 16, 2013, 06:35:15 PM »
I found a rare bird here, a Taito Space Invaders Part II (b/w version). Does anyone in Europe have one? Apologies for the low res pic. I'll post a better pic when I get the chance.

One major issue (among a couple) is that it's missing the backdrop. From my research, it appears to be a red star field image. Does anyone have one (for scanning or taking hires pics) or a lead on one to purchase? It looks like this:

Thanks!

I picked up a Tracer a few weeks back (in the states). I was wondering if there were any (or Sega Bullet Mark) found in Europe. I noticed a Sega Secret Base showed up over there, so it's possible. Regardless, share some of your early b/w video arcade games.

Right now i'm looking at the feasability of going through the rigmarol of doing all the organisation, so i need to see how much interest there is in the games. Game Specifics like photos and condition etc can be sorted later.

All machines will be on 110v, you do the power conversion yourself. Please bear in mind shipping costs on top of sale cost allow about £400 per machine, i have not done a container recently, and i dont have firm figures yet... i'm just sounding out.

I have room to bring back about 16 games initially, so let the melee begin... i would prefer if people emailed me andy (at) andysarcade dot net to keep things organised as i dont always have forum access but whatever...

Looking to bring this in, maybe mid September perhaps. Pickup for machines will be near Portsmouth on the south coast of the UK, temporary holding space is provided, but I would much prefer simultaneous pickup when the container lands if at all possible.

BUMP!

Prices added and list amended.

Please note that prices could be negotiable in places, for those that have contacted me already, please look at the list again with the price and see what you think.

All machines are complete, even if shown as not working. I will get photos in the next week or so, maybe some sooner.

I am gathering container shipping quotes now and seeing if i can be more precise on the cost of this, i initially quoted £400 as a guess, it might be cheaper.

Please point people on DLF forum to this post, i can't maintain two seperate posts really...
