I slowly come to an end with the he huge raid I started back last august
( see here: http://www.ukvac.com/forum/i-introduce-myself-with-my-latest-roadtrip_topic341492.html (http://www.ukvac.com/forum/i-introduce-myself-with-my-latest-roadtrip_topic341492.html) )
I sold nearly a 60 machines for the vendor to the current date and so he kept his promise and allowed me to pick the fullsize Hang-On for free..
It is in a dark place with trash all around and on it.
It got a lot of rust as well, so to know what I have to do to transport it would be great.
My questions are:
What exactly is to do to divide, means
how many screws
what kind of screws
where are they located
how many pieces will I have to transport and how heavy are they
every extra information or pictures are more than welcome
I dont think that it makes any difference but it is the red one....not the blue limited edition

Wow, dont remember seeing those pics ! Cool :)
-
OK, you did not dismatel the machine in any kind of way, you guys took the entire machine???
That, for sure, is heavy...but well done.
One of my cart even looked even worse when I transported the Virtua Fighter as it was a cheap MDF-one....
-
Did´nt you guys try it or is the base of the machine made from one piece?
4 people could lift it on the trailer?
Ahhhh what a beatiful machine, any pictures or videos of the machine in current state?
-
This was for Eurocade no it was not taken apart.
No idea where it is now.
-
Wow, thanks for reminding me of how slim I was 20 kgs ago! ::) ::) Fortunately I now fit twice in that short, almost. :D

Carrying such a DX-machine around (especially without casters) for the EuroCade seems to be a bit much enthusiasm :D

OK, although some members in different forums was thinking I had the wrong impression about the Hang-On ride-on´s base ability to divide in 3 parts I now found out it is possible (although in the Eurocade-pictures it really does not look like. I hope that our Atari-Irland-made ride-on´s are divide the same way as the japanese ones).
Here are some pictures:

So, now the million-$ question is how does the base unbolt?
I see a door in the base´s surface, I hope I dont need keys for that as usually that machines come without keys and there is no electicity out there to run a drill.

OK, the images did´nt work on UK-VAC either...so I also post the direct link to the page where I found the images:

on mine it is not divided like the picture it is unfortunately 1 piece :'(

Lets hope that not all Hang-On´s from the irland Atari-plant are single-piece-based.
