Never seen that version!
GREAT game, still one of my all time favorite… it was also my first dedicated cab and my first roadtrip to UK.

Still seems to have a gel over the CRT on this picture: (http://i.imgur.com/ztwTULr.jpg)

Funny, one like that was also on my Meteor IIRC. They were meant for Star Castle like games I guess ?

Is that a "hard plastic" one ?

The one on my CRT was just a flexible "sticker" (but it adhered without glue of course and luckily....).

Very nice one.  Look at the glossy side panels!  :o

Yeah that was the first thing I noticed. That and the silver T-molding and when I saw that I knew it was something different.... :)

The glossy thing must have come from the Italian style :) I like it !

I think that is late production, connector & wiring seem to be original and not cut or rebuilt.

Now start the restoration, spot killer in the xy monitor is on, problem on pcb, work in progress  ;)

Must say the green buttons are a bit funny looking, but if those were originally there by all means keep it that way :)

Very nice and rare machine !!!

And your space invaders buttons are also green.
Is it kinda your "signature design" ?  ;)
