:)
Working on the coin door of the Ms.Pac after my idea of replacing it with a similar looking (but in the end non-fitting) one I had "on stock".
The only issue that the original door has is that it has been kicked or whatever, and there was a big dent at the spot where I put the bondo.
Following the dent it is also a bit "bumpy" around the are abut I don't mind that too much.
First I thought of simply ignoring the dent and just prime and paint it but then I thought why not try to improve at least the worst part (the dent) with some bondo.
After filling and sanding it looks like this. Notice those tiny holes....no way I can finish it like this. No idea why I get those holes, Ive seen it before though. Maybe my mix of hardener and the "main stuff" is not correct ?
Thing is, whatever I do with it bondo seems to fail with me, while I see others making perfect straight corners etc.

Will your primer coat not fill in these little holes?
If not use a product like "stopper" its like think paint, for filling in little imperfections

What stuff do you use?
I had drilled holes and bents in my galaxian coin door and I used JB wells to fill it. Worked out great the stuff is hard as iron, easy to sand and the result is as smooth as... ... a metal plate.
I use 'regular' bondo only for wood work.

Damn....I actually think I have some JB weld still on stock.............somewhere...
Great tip, thanks !
