nice, can't wait to see them in real life! ;)
-
I have about 50-60 handhelds, unfortunately no display yet, they are sitting on a shelf atm.. :-\
-
Should it be that color or does it need Retro-bright ?
-
ah, this was and still is one of my favs on the Atari 2600....Outlaw :)
Béla, did you ever take pictures of your collection?
-
Cool !!! Congratulations - great conditions :spaceace:

Those simple games were so much fun two player.
Combat was the pack-in game when my brother bought the 2600 and we thought it to be really too simple looking in the beginning but after some serious 2 player Tank games we loved it :)
I still need to play a 2 player Tank arcade machine.....loved playing the Western Gun during the last Eurocade....shame it didn't survive....

No, the American one was this brown. I have 2 EU/JP ones, which are cream white, with embossed GUN PROFESSIONAL letters with paint instead of the sticker of the US version. It is basically the Boothill arcade game in handheld form.

Yeah, Outlaw rocks, maybe we can play a few rounds on the 2600 soon. ;)
I have these pics from my collection, made in 2011 july, there are 20-30 more by now. :D

The first SINGLE GAME LCD handheld.
Before we had:
- Lots of LED games, where 1976 Auto Race by Mattel was the first
- VFD handhelds where 1979 Bambino UFO Master Blaster Station was first
- Mech/LED games like Tomy Blip from 1977.
- First LCD handheld: the Microvision handheld console with cartridges from 1979.
-
I would want this:

if I collected hand-helds.
Atari also planned other LED games but apart from Touch Me none were ever released....another clever move by marketing guys.

Do you like Star Wars Level 42?
Then grab a Firefox-7 by Grandstand, they are 10€ on ebay.co.uk.
It is the best "handheld" experience ever, and a very nice Star Wars port.
