I recently did some business with Andreas aka Andy (http://andysarcade.de/ (http://andysarcade.de/)). And when asked about good forums for arcade stuff, he mentioned this one };-P

I'm 37years old and live in a house (with a nice basement for my stuff) with my wife and 3 kids in Vanløse (near Copenhagen), Denmark. I have a cand.scient. degree in mathematics with minor in computer science, and work as a systems developer/programmer.

I have always been interested in electronics and mechanics and have always taken things apart to see and understand how they work. I love to try and repair stuff, do mods etc.

For the last 8 years or so I've been collecting arcade stuff, and since I build my own SuperGun/Testbench (http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1825635165893.110508.1390686556&type=1&l=d171261ea5 (http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1825635165893.110508.1390686556&type=1&l=d171261ea5) comments in danish, sorry) about 3 years ago, I've done also repairs of my own defective arcade games with success to some extent.

I also have a sparetime programming project, where I write my own software for my cheap chinese EPROM-Programmer (a Top2005+), as the included software doesn't use the hardware to the full extent. The project is open source and GPL licenced, so feel free to try it out, if you have a Top2005+ };-P

I mostly do in PCBs (a matter of space), but I do have 2 cabs; one is JK (one of the 2 typical Danish standard cabs) and a Zaccaria (Zaxxon) that have been molested.
Both of them have defective monitor atm, and I haven't been motivated enough to take a look at it yet.

But once I pull myself together and clean up my gaming-corner/workshop, I'll might do a post with pics };-P
