Hi gents,
in my holdiday i mangaged to buy a new Zaccaria.
this was the Info I had:

The deal was to buy two cabs, the zaccaria cab with the quasar marquee and the scramble bezel.
And the cab on the left side of the foto (someone can identify it;-)).
So I only wanted the Zacc, but after a long trade I take both cabs, and the seller allowed me to pick them up one by one.
The Zacc shortly, and the other in the next two months. (I don't know what to do with it, but time will bring)
It was a destination far away from my hometown Hamburg, so i decided to make a short left turn when going to work last week:

I started last sunday, and was not sure if the Zacc can fit to my VW-Golf:

I started before lunch:

took my roadtrip food survival package:

made a short stop for fueling me and my car

by the way I fueled so much expensive Aral fuel, that I get an DVD for my little daughter;-)

and then a arrived in the wonderful eastern germany village, with the typical "Plattenbau"

We went in the cellar where the cabs are waiting for me. And hoorray, it is a Scramble!!!!!, with a wrong marquee;-)
So I quickly asked Thorsten for a Scramble Marquee;-) and I will get it soon!!
quickly we dropped the quasar cab in the car, and after crossing the fingers it fits perfectly;-)
The other cab of this deal is much smaller, but extremely heavy;-(

then I drove the rest 350km to work, where I arrived at 23:30.

Hah, Zaccs fit easily. Your car is pretty much identical to mine (Octavia) and I've transported lots of cabs successfully in it. Only ancient old "huge body" cabs like Space Invaders and Wester Gun didn't fit...

Btw., you had extreme luck with that glass bezel, it should have fallen out from the cab with the cp removed, I already broke 2 glasses like this. :o

I removed the Bezel before I started the Engine;-)
the tube is working, the lights are working, and there is 12V on the board;-)

quite a distance you have to travel to get to work - hope you don't have to go there (and back again) everyday ;)

only three or four times a month;-) And if my car is empty I will stop at Superully to load my Missile Command Table Parts;-)

Thanks for the road trip, It is always nice to see another Zacc being rescued.
I have to admit that I am growing very fond of these cabs, they are so pretty! ;D
