Let's revive an old thread ;)
Check, better replace fuse holders and fuses on this monitor !
While I'm on it, I figured I'd make a cap list, if even for my own reference :)
So here goes. I checked it with the schematics and they are correct unless noted...
Hantarex MTRV Monitor XY
Cap Kit list:
Parts ordering list:
5x 4700uF - 35V
4x 100uF - 50V
2x 10uF - 160V
1x 100uF - 16V (of course, if you’re gonna order 4 100uF-50V you could add one of these
1x 4.7uF - 35V
1x 2.2uF - 50V (Schematic says 63V)
1x 470uF - 35V
___________________________________
Deflection board:
C7 10uF-160V
C11,C14,C20,C21 100uF 50V (schematic says C11,C20,21 - 35V, stick to 50V and you're safe)
Power Supply Board:
C1,C1a,C2,C2a 4700uF-35V
HV board:
C1 2.2uF - 50V (Schematic says 63V)
C3 10uF - 160V Axial
C7 470uF - 35V
C10 4.7uF - 35V
C11 100uF - 16V
C15 4700uF - 35V (Schematic says 2200uF - 50V, I think this is an error in the schematic, the screen on the PCB and the holes provide for the same sized cap as on the power supply board !! Stick with 4700uF-35V and you're safe, it works fine on my monitor)
Errata in Schematics in manual:
Deflection board: there are two C5's on the schematic. The left one (connected to R24 and D10 is actually C7
