Title: Repair Sideart

I'm looking for some advice. I have a Taito Space Invaders Part 2 upright... the red one... and the sides have some deep scratches and chips here and there. I understand the sideart is vinyl, but what I want to do is fill in the chips and scratches then paint.

Any advice, or has anyone had experience of doing something similar?

nope, never repaired vinyl. but from what i've heard there are some tutorials out there, haven't had the time (and the desire) to check though!
